What do you need for a Cosmopolitan?
Vodka (1 part)
Triple sec (1 part)
Cranberry juice (1,5 part)
Lime (juice of half a lime)
Peel of an orange
1 part = 30 ml
How to make a Cosmopolitan?
Begin with a shaker with ice cubes. Pour the vodka, cointreau (or triple sec), cranberry juice en lime juice into the shaker. Shake it away, throw loose those arms. Use a chilled martini glass for the Cosmopolitan cocktail. You can chill a glass the easy way to put some ice in the glass just before you start preparing your cocktail. Take the ice out of the glass and pour in the Cosmopolitan Cocktail, strain the ice that we used in the shaker. To add some extra smell and flavour we are going to light up the orange peel. You have to use a fresh orange to do this. If you bend the peel a little bit you see these small fluids coming out. Hold a lighter next to the peel and above the poured out Cosmopolitan. After you did this, put this peel in the glass for extra flavour.
