Sex on the beach

Sex on the beach is one of the most known cocktails ever. That doesn’t mean it’s the best cocktail, but at least the most popular on every holiday :). Expecially the ladies like this cocktail because of the smooth and sweet combination of flavors. And of course we like the name of the cocktail. Although is Sex on the beach a little bit overrated if you ask me, all the sand and stuff. The original Sex on the beach is with the ingredients vodka, orange juice, peach liquor and cranberry juice. You can also variate with pineapple juice, mango juice or other fresh fruits you prefer.

What do you need for a Sex on the Beach?

Vodka (1 part)
Peach liquor (0,5 part)
Orange juice (2 parts)
Cranberry juice (1,5 part)

1 part = 30 ml

How do you make a Sex on the Beach?

We will be using a hurricane glass for this classic cocktail. It suits the tropical look and feel perfectly. We will be making the cocktail in the glass. First start with adding ice cubes into the glass. Fill it up completely. The add the vodka and peach liquor to the glass. The add the orange juice and cranberry juice to top of the cocktail. Don’t stir it, this will keep the nice and different colors in the glass. Gives it a tropical – sunset – kind a feel. Garnish the Sex on the beach with a orange slice or cocktail cherry.

Rather without alcohol?

This fruity cocktail is also perfect to drink without alcohol. We will only change the name into a Virgin on the beach.
